"Christmas in July" Frequently Asked Questions

Christmas in July will be back in 2026! Santa is taking a well-deserved break this summer and we will be focusing on important farm improvements, including upgrades to our well. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you next year—stay tuned for details!

There is no admission fee or reservations required to enter the farm for "Christmas in July".  The event also includes a combination of free and paid activities.  The only activity that requires advance reservations is the Wagon Ride with Santa, and tickets are available here.  Please note that these reservations usually fill up fast and may not be available to reserve on the day of the event.

There is something for everyone at "Christmas in July"!  

Activities that are available free of charge include:

• Santa visits and Story Times with Santa
• Victorian Storyteller and Juggler
• Visits with the Silver Belle Princess
• Goat feeding and viewing
• Pedal tractors
• Outdoor play areas and games
• SBF Treasure Hunt

Paid activities include:

• Face painting
• Cookie decorating
• Barrel Train rides
• Bounce House
• Scenic tractor-pulled wagon rides around the farm
• Wagon rides with Santa (advance reservations are required)
• Barrel Train rides

In addition to the activities, we offer a variety of food and beverage options:

🍪 City Sidewalk Café: Iced and Hot Coffee, Assorted Cold Beverages, Baked Goods, Soft Pretzels,     

        Cider Donuts

🍦 Ice Cream Truck: Frozen Hot Chocolate, Grinch Slushies, Novelty Ice Cream Bars

🥪 SBF Concessions Stand: Specialty Grilled Cheese, Gourmet Mac & Cheese, Hot Dogs 

Yes!  Santa will be available for visits and photos throughout the day.  You are welcome to take as many photos as you'd like.  Please check the online event schedule to help you plan accordingly.

Usually, if it is going to be a washout, we will hold a modified version of the event indoors. We won't be able to run the outdoor activities like the Barrel Train and Bounce House, but Santa will still be available in the Farm Store, along with special indoor activities. Check our Facebook page and the "Christmas in July" page of our website for updates. 

As much as we love dogs, we do not allow them during our large events so that we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all attendees. Thank you for understanding!

Outside food and beverages are not permitted at our Christmas in July event. We have delicious offerings available for your enjoyment at our Cafe, Concessions Window, and Ice Cream Truck.
