Please reach us at events@silverbellfarm.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The event includes a Story Walk on the trails of the farm featuring 8 festive scenes from Farmer Mike's latest book, Halloween on the Farm. Along the way, children will meet friendly characters, recite the "magic words", and receive candy at each stop! The event also includes a trip through our 1-acre corn maze. During your time at the farm, you will also have access to our play areas and outdoor games, pedal tractors, and goats. The City Sidewalk Cafe, Santa's Snack Shack, and Frosty's Treat Truck will all be open for food, beverage, gifts, and treat purchases. The Bounce Houses, Barrel Train rides, and scenic tractor-pulled Wagon Rides will also be available for an additional cost. (Barrel Train rides and Bounce House wristbands can be added on to your ticket purchase for a discount.)
The farm will be open to the public during the event this year, which is different from previous years. However, the event will run the same way. When you arrive at the farm, check in with the "Ghost Host" to receive your event wristband.
Because the farm will be open to the public this year, you will be able to purchase "Halloween at the Farm" tickets at the farm on the day of the event. However, we can't guarantee that there will be tickets available for the next time slot when you arrive, so we always recommend that you purchase tickets in advance.
Tickets are required for all children who will be receiving candy from the characters. The event is recommended for children ages 2 to 10. Tickets are not required for adults, but there is a limit of 2 adults per child.
If you have an extra adult with you over the 2-adult per child limit, they can still attend - we just ask that they purchase entry to the Corn Maze for $5. You will be able to purchase a ticket when you check in with the "Ghost Host." Thank you for understanding!
This is a family-friendly event that is recommended for children ages 2-10. The book characters are very friendly and include the Ghost Host, Forgetful Fairy, Anxious Arachnid, Skillful Scarecrow, Mannerly Mummy, Whimsical Witches, Tenacious Troll, and Clever Cat.
Like other large events (sporting events, live theater, etc.) we do not offer refunds if the event takes place and you cannot attend for any reason, including illness. Please keep this in mind when you are purchasing tickets. In 2024, purchase protection will be available through the ticketing site in the event that you are unable to attend due to illness or an emergency. Thank you for understanding!
If there is very light rain in the forecast, the event may be held as scheduled. In the event of a downpour, we will cancel the event and let you know the evening before. You will receive a full refund if the event is canceled for any reason.
Purchase Protection claims are handled by a third party and all claims must be submitted within 48 hours of the event. To file a claim, visit www.purchaseprotection.com and select Claims. Please review the full terms and conditions to make sure that your reason for not attending falls into acceptable circumstances, and be prepared to supply the appropriate documentation.
Refer to the email from Purchase Protection for some of the information that you need to file your claim. The email was sent immediately after your purchase.
Upon receipt of a claim, the team at Purchase Protection will review the submission and provide a response within 10 business days. Approved claims will receive a refund for the amount of the ticket fees and taxes in the form of a check.

As much as we love dogs, we do not allow them on the Story Walk trail so that we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all attendees. Thank you for understanding!
You should plan to spend about 45 minutes to an hour at the farm to complete the Story Walk. If your kids love the playground and the Bounce House, plan for longer!
